Fuck CAS

Where to begin, how do you talk about a publicly funded instituation that is a private corporation and makes money off of selling children. Do i talk about the fact that most of my friends with addiction problems started using while in custody, do I talk about the tales of physical and sexual abuse I have heard that goes on in foster homes, do I talk about the fact that although they dont keep records on race, indigenous people are targetted by CAS so disporportionatly that elders i the artic have told me its the continuation of residential schools. How about I quote my friend who walked with me on the monday g20 and got fed up of hearing CAS’s shit that he asked that we leave, i believe his exact words were “you broke my family apart, when you took us my mom didnt drink, now shes an alcoholic”

Every crime that imperialists accuse there enemies of doing, CAS does. Remember the Saddam incubator story, stealing babies from incubators, CAS in kw is there in the hospital as soon as a poor woman under 25 gives birth to steal the child. You know how they accuse communists of making children spy on there parents, what do you think they do when they take the child alone and grill him. You know how they say commuists make there children hate there parents, what do you think children thinkk when they are told again and again and again your parents hate you, they forgot about you etc. etc. They say communism destroys religion, what happenneds when you put an indigenous kid with settler parents? I could tell you my own experiances with these bastards and I will eventually, but i think this illistrates the problem better on my street there is an open custody facility and a group home, the open custody facility has grass, basketball courts etc. The group home has none of that. Both are contorolled entrabce etc, both put children in with violent people where they learn survival of the fittest etc. My question to you is what did the child in the group home do to end up in juvie jail, what was his crime?

There is a saying among the Irish fighting for reunification and the brits out of the North, its ” Our Day Will Come”. Mandy Hiscocks is a nice nice!!!!

The hatred and bad blood between Guelph university students and kw street organizors is long. It goes back to 2000. Yet during this whole period, our prejudice never extented to Mandy, who was always solid and a good person.

The thing with Mandy is you never know what she is thinking by looking in her face, so when I first met her in the late 1990′s i thought she was standoffish. Back then the cool group was the New Socialists, a trot group whom I believe refer to themselves as post maoist or something. Mandy, doing her thing called herself an Anarchist which intrigued me, in fact one could say Mandy was an anarchist before it was cool to be an anarchist and despite the fact that most organizers at that time on guelph campus called themselves communists or post maoist or whatever the proper term is.

Like I said, my first impression of Mandy was that she was standoffish, but time proved me wrong. When my friend aaron love died and I was broken i ran into her and she was sympathetic. When i threw choclate milk on Day and everyone was denouncing me (read the issue of the record to see what I mean) as adventurist, she gave me a hug as soon as i got off the bus to Guelph for some sort of protest. When we were humiliated at the matrix in front of the whole activist community in Guelph, she let us stay at her place and told us “Not all guelph feels that way about you”. There was a cool cat at that house and it liked to play and like Mandy the cat had a good heart.

When moving to Guelph and participating in various things I would run into her from time to time and though she was still hard to read, I was happy to see her.

My ex worked at the radio station with her and believe it or not, she was a topic of conversation, particularly the fact that she was a hard worker, did lots of cool legal shit and has always been dedicated to doing cool shit.

I was very happy to see her on the steps of old cityhall on the 13th for my courtdate and when I saw her Im like i dont care if no one else shows up shes here and thats good shit. I was very happy when i saw more people showed up many who were my friends.

Yeah even today I still cant read Mandy but I know shes good shit and has been good shit since the home not bombs day, and I will try to make it to her court, even if the weather is shitty and have 2 take the bus cause Mandy is NICE NICE!!!!!!

We are free people, though we are poor

In th early days of the Catholic Church there was an arguement that forever changed Christianity, original sin and free will. Augustine, who was a converted Manicheaist, stated that since God is all knowing and all powerful, he has a plan, his plan, like him his eternal and infinate so linear time does not apply, since linear time doesnt apply and we fell from grace through original sin, we can only be saved by Gods grace, which we cant earn but must be given. God, chooses who he gives his grace to and since God is infinite those who are saved are already saved and those who are damned are already damned. In other words, everything is predetermined and there is nothing we can do. Pelagius, on the other hand, felt that since Christ died for our sins orginal sin is washed away and we, as independent players must choose salvation or damnation for ourselves. Good and evil choices that we make as free agents are choosen by us and we mus live with the consequences. Since at that time predetermination could be used to justify the pillage and plunder of the Holy Roman empire as Gods will, and slaves were those who were damned, and Pelagius’s arguement meant that as free agents without original sin we as Christians cant enslave our free and equal brothers, Pelagius lost. Predetermination and the idea that we cant act but are pawns in a predetermined game of chess served the Church well, but though they wiped out Pelagius’s writings this thoughts came back to plague the Holy Roman Empire again and agin, From Wat Tyler, to John Ball, to the Waldesians, The levellers, Diggers etc . So yes Pelagius was called a heretic and kicked out of the church, but the idea of free will and equality were never wiped out from the hearts of the toiling masses.

Today in our movement, there are people who follow the teacings of Augustine and preach predetermination, they may not talk about original sin in the same way that he did but the end result are the same. I always hear from intellectuals about Gramsci and Foucault and that how by the age of 7 we are so brainwashed by capitalist culture (original sin) that any choice we make is already determined by our enviroment. Furthermore even if we thing we are rebbelling, our own act of defiance and method of rebellion is predetermined and hence will fail and if by some miricle we do succeed, our “orignal sin” of living under hegemony will damn us into creating the same structures that we took down.

The problem I have with this new Augustinianism is that it steals from us our ability to act and determine our own destiny. By its very desighn this thought takes away our ability to free ourselves before we even try. Like Augustine, this philosophy serves the ruling class by justifying every act of barbarity to the hegemony that created it holding no one responsible and furthermore it condemns the victums of this brutality to live a life of simple acceptance based on the idea that any and all resistance is futile. I refuse to believe this. To be free means to have the ability to determine your own destiny and accept the consequences of your action. If everything is already predetermined and we are condemned to eternal damnation of capitalist explotation why dont we just shoot ourselves. How the fuck does fentynol end up on the street and why arent people talking about it?

Now everyone knows my position on peoples right to pain medication and Im the last one to ask for more government restrictions stoping people from getting the painmeds they need , but I have to say something. Earlier today i had a serious conversation with someone who fucked up shit happenned to because among other drugs used, they used Fentynol. Last week I found out that there is a batch of bad heroine going around kw laced with Fentynol. From what I know, no one has yet died from it but its only a matter of time before people start dropping like the east end is Main and Hastings. Fentanol is even in some of the extasy going around. To those reading this STAY AWAU FROM Lucky charMS Fentanol is something you dont want to fuck with. Fentanol is 100 times stronger then morphine and only given to those who are opiate tolarant. According to instructions that means taking 8 mgs of instant release hydromorphone every four hours for over a month, or about to 80′s of oxys a day for the same amount of time. The patch releases 25, 50 or 100 MICROGRAMS every hour. The patch last for three days. Let me spell that out for you people who are serious long time users put a patch on there arms, that releases Micrograms into the skin. They dont go from nothing to smashing a patch, or smoking a patch etc. People die when the patch leaks, what the fuck do you think happenneds when you bang, smoke or suck a whole fucken patch. I believe drugs are a social issue and should be solved as such and while I am against addiction I dont hate the addict, and Im the last one to preach to someone what to do in there personal life, but I have to say this FENTANOL KILLS!!!!! STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM IT EVEN IF ITS FREE!!! People hearing me say this may call me a hipocit for my previous views on fentanol, but when I am wrong I admit it and if Im telling you Fentanol kills, im not some fucken schoolboy who will lies to push whatever hidden agaenda I have, IT KILLS.

Fentanol is one of the most regulated drugs that I know in Canada. Each patch has a code so it can be traced fromits source. Everyone I know who is perscribed fentanol is super paranoid and takes extra precautions to stop there patches from going missing, I have not met one person who would loan a patch to another pain person, much less sell one. Heroin is a powder so when it cut with fentanol I asume its also a powder, and as far as I know in Canada, it only comes in a patch or a lolypop, the Canadian FDA has not yet aprroved the sublingial pill (i may be wrong) so where the fuck does it come from and why the fuck is it in powdered form. How is it ending up in heroine and extasy pills and why is no one talking about it? The national post ran article after article about the dangers of Oxycotin but didnt mention one word about fentanol. Everyone will lecture you about the dangers of oxys from street works to preachers but only those on the front line will talk about fentanol because they see it. Why the media silence, why are the hard questions not being asked. Fentanol is not like cocaine or other drugs smugglled in and produced in secret, its a pharmaceutical, in other words its produced in a factory with the blessing of the state. Where does it go missing from manufacturing to pain person. I know the docters arent giving it out like candy most of them are to scared to perscribe anything stronger the perks, so i highly doubt its coming from them. Why dont the police stop scaring kids with there reefer madness stories and gateway theories and ideas that if you smoke pot once you will end up a crack head and start a real campaighn based on truths where users and everyone say the truth about fentanol. If you lie about pot (im not saying smoking pot is good or advocating it, i think all drugs should be taken seriously) and have these stupid comercials with eggs and your brain on drugs, who will believe you when you say the truth about fentanol, but the fucked up thing is i see no campaighn from the police on fentanol all they want to do id jump on the oxy hating bandwagon and let the addicts fall where they may. These hard questions need to be answered.

Many people now think of GHB as a date rape drug . I remeber when people did it for fun. Lives were lost. A raver group, which is not schoolboys started a campaighn with a simple message GHB kills, when we learn the truth its our obligation to speak it even if we were wrong, no ones gonna do it for us so lets do it ourselves,lets tell everyone the truth FENTNOL KILLS, its not something to fuck with. The Leah I know

I hardly know leah and met her only a handful of times, but everytime i did she helped me. Why would someone like her be concerned about a total stranger and his health. At a solidarity protest for the hanlon i started puking and could barly walk, she hung out with me and asked what she could do. Who was I to her, and why did she care. At one of her workshop, i kept on being a disruptive influence cause of drama at my house which i wont get into. I brought a strange girl to this workshop that was more disruptive then me. Yet all her and alex cared about was her safty. I was asked by a lawyer why i didnt go to her court, cause when we had non associtation she was worried about my health. Lawyers like to guilt trip so im not sure if its true but it sounds like something she would do. I know what type of person this is the same person who said this in court ………All you need to know about me is that I am a person of conscience. I came here from a place of morality. I stand here guilty of breaking your laws, not the laws of justice,” she said. “I submit to your jails because you hold the weapons, but that will not always be so.”

One of the reasons i write what i write is to get our stories out and humanize us. The other reason is to hope that people learn and the shit that we went through can teach people lessons/

Che guevara at one point said if we start robbing banks now without politisizing the movement we will simply be bank robbers. Violence and brutality, to poor people is a reality. When I talk about my friend in the previous blog, i forgot to mention that the reason he still in the dub is because of the movement. In otherwords, the movement is his future., his way out his way forward. Even if he gets a big record deal he will take us with us because that is who he is.

Our movement right now is at a critical point. We were hurt, we were infiltrated and we are looking to place blame. Paranoia is deeply entrenched and we want a way out. Violence directed to the people paranoia and glorifying the gun makes us feel tuff. We are safe dehumanizing our enemies and talking about shit that would fuck us up and kill our souls. I said earlier the only way to make people not talk to police is make them more scared of us. Thats the gang way of looking at it, simple quick and sure. But what kind of movement will we have if we break fingers, and remove peoples flesh etc. I have a good friend that did hard time for doing shit to a snitch that makes waterboarding look nice. Ask me in person about this and i’ll tell you the story and have people who back it up. Are we ready to do that? Im not saying violence isnt necessary at some point in the struggle, but who will it be used against and how. Im not crying had tears for snitches who get stitches, but I hate the brutality and know I dont want to be the one giving those stitches, and if you really think its fun to torture people, then i feel that the system has fucked you up more then you know. None of us want the violence. We will defend ourselves if attacked or based on principles, but we love politics cause it creates an alternative to the violence and if eventually we have to use violence we will only do so as a last resort. If the time came i would be the first to pick up a gun, but I know what that means. Right now we need communities that heal so we have what we are fighting for. I remember something, after g20 when pigs were grabbing people and saying if you dont implicate julian in the dope in your hand (which I had nothing to do with) or whatever we will fuck you. People were getting grabbed cause they were my friends. They all were solid and did there time without lieing. I havent tortured people as part of my movement, nor did anything to make people to fear me. I abhord violence among the people. Yet people could have walked by saying my name. They didnt cause Im loyal and as fucked up as I am Im a solid friend. If we want people in our movement not to turn we do that by making them respect and love us not fear us

They dont got ice in the jungle

So despite my resolve to start drinking again, it became obvious to me that it wasnt gonna happened tonight. I called a friend to see if we could kick it and they said cool. I got there and of course we needed treats, no one wanted to go to the store with me except P.. P is a really good guy, so we try to figure out what we want. Since my teeth are fucked anyways im like pepsei, ice cream choclates and 10% cream. We start walking back and say shit we forgot to get ice. Cause anyone who knows me knows that I need ice in my pepsi. P. says to me ” i thought you were guerilla and all, when the shit goes down there wont be ice in the jungle” I start laughing and we head back and put on the old connan. We start talking about weapons, Sumeria, The god particle and how if there was life on other planets they wont care about us till we find the god particle, and start realizing we are one race. And its all him, talking. Hes talking amazing stuff.

From what I know about P. hes from the US, his life makes mine look like leave it to beaver and hes proud of his rag. His rag and crew are his family. What else i know is that whatever shit hes done his soul is pure. He treats wimmin like gold, hes shy in terms of relationships and when he loves he will die for that love. When he is among students he wont say a word, which is really bad, cause they can learn alot from him. We start talking about my blog, the magazine we are starting and the hip hop project we are trying to get a grant from. He shows me his new song, its about abuse and how fucked up it is. Several years ago there was a snitch that fucked over many people, he took a certain kitchen tool and when he found him he wiped off his gang tattoo flesh and all. A very brutal act. Although I would never condone it I understand why he had to do it, if he didnt do it alot worst shit would have happenned and the only way to stop people from tal;king to the cops is making them more scared of you then the cops. Yet talking to him you still see the love and hope in his heart and how he will be the first to help an old lady or a fucked up friend who needs pepsi. He doesnt brag about what he did, he did what he had to do. And he still loves. He helps whenever he can and puts the people first. Why cant i find speeches by Haydee Santamaria on the internet

My plan to day was to get ahold of my dentist, do organizing get my teeth fixed and since i have quit quitting drinking, find some friends and have a good night. Quitting quitting drinking is hard because even if you have the will do drink, other problems arise that make you deal with them and you have no time to enjoy yourself. So even though now I have no moral problem consuming alcohol, I just can’t find the opportunity. For example a good friend called with legal questions about bail, my other friend is outside in the cold waiting for me to hang (hes sick and the last thing I want to do is get another ailment), so knowing I cant drink tonight and have shit to deal with, i thought i would do something I have wanted to do for awhile and introduce people to the writing of Haydee Santamaria.

Haydee Santamaria is well known in Cuba and played a pivotal role in the Cuban Revolution. After the attack on the Moncada Barricades, they murdered her brother, ripped out his eyes and brought them to her and said your brother is dead, you better snitch or we will fuck you and your loved ones up. She replied “he is not dead, because to die the liberation of your homeland is to live forever”. She helped run the underground, smuggling weapons, printing off Fidels speech “history will absolve me” and smuggled them to students at the risk of her life, so that people knew what was going on. After the revolution she started the Casa De L Americas whose goal was to get all the artistic works of Latin America and get all its culture that is under attack by cultural imperialists and idiots like Pinochet who would burn and destroy important works so that when Latin America liberated itself from imperialism they could have there culture. The rest of her life was dedicated to this and the glorious work of the revolution.

An amazing life, an amazing woman, an amazing person. So why cant I find her speeches in english? Why is her face not on Tshirts and at barricades. Is her spirit not what we are fighting for? I remember during one meeting in Cuba, Vilma Espin, a hard revolutionary who is the head of The Cubans Womans Organization was addressing us and all the North Americans, bored left and drank coke and chit chated. Her credentials are just as revolutionary, if not more the alot of the manarchists we idolize, so why was were voice silenced in North America. Is it because both of these revolutionary Women are that Women or is it more. To be sure Patriarchy plays a role. But them why is the Che with the gun glorified, yet no one talks about the Che that did volunteer work, that refused any special rations even though his health was bad because he wanted to set an example. Why does no one talk about Che’s new person and why does he look so angry on our shirts. Where ate pictures of him joking around? where are all the funny stories that we hear about him in Cuba. Where is not the Che of La Cabana, but the Che that said at the risk of sounding silly a true revolutionary is guided by strong feelings of love> Yes our movement needs rage and anger and the will do to what needs to be done, but it also needs culture and love and the idea that creating a revolutionary womans organization is just as important if not maore then picking up a gun. The UJC slogan is study work gun, it looks to me that our slogan is GUN GUN GUN. To be like Che is not just to be violent but to have something to replace the system when it comes down, something built from love. Until our movement learns this, we wont find the speeches of Haydee Santamaria in english cause no one will read them, and idiots will always ignore Vilma Espin because shes not cool enough

Hands Off North Korea!!!!!!!!

With Kim Jung Il dead and U$ making war preparations to invade and attack North Korea, people want me as a communist to either condemn or defend the government of the DPRK and tell the Korean people, who fought off Japanese and U$ aggression the correct way for them to advance there struggle. As if the Korean people need me to tell them what to do. I defend the DPRK’s right to self determination and will not tell a country who has had every building destroyed by the state that I am residing in that they got it right or wrong. That is for them to decide. What I will talk about is the past aggression against the DPRK cause by the state that I reside in and how we can work here to give the people in the DPRK the breathing space they need to build there nation according to there principles and experiance.

In the 1990′s when the people of the DPRK tried to open friendship bridges to reunify families torn apart by imperialism, it was Madaline Albright that opposed this and stated that the korean peninusla served strageic U$ interests and any step to reunification must be stopped. When the DPRK Put forward peaceful reunification on the basis of one country 2 systems, with open borders and freedom of movement it was the U$ that opposed and stopped this. I guess tear down this wall only applies when it benifits imperialism and what is good for Germany means nothing to the Korean people.

When bush declared Iran Iraq and North Korea that axis of evil even though Bathist and Shiite ideology is very distinct and Korea is way the fuck in Asia and proceeded to invade Iraq, the only thing that saved the DPRK from invasion was there nuke. During the six party talks when the DPRK said they would get rid of there nuke if the U$ promised not to invade all countries agreed except the U$. So the U$ has the biggest military, land mine and troop buildup on the border of the DPRK, has nukes pointing there, all north Korea has is one bloody Nuke they are willing to give up for the promise not to invade yet the U$ says no. Only an idiot would put down all that is standing between them and annihilation. You want to know why the DPRK spends so much on military? Cause thats all thats standing between them and naked aggression.

Whis is Obama meeting with Japan and South Korea? What violence are they planning in our names? Has any imperialist intervention ever served the people they “liberated” or is “democracy” the new cross and sword. We have an obligation not to allow the imperialist powers to attack the DPRK, and stop this war machine that groes fat on the flesh and blood of colonialism.
