Six Nations land defender Francine “Flower” Doxtator, and supporters, are calling for a rally and round dance outside the Cayuga courthouse MARCH 19th at 2pm.

In the context of the inspiring fight for Native rights in the Idle No More movement, we especially need to support land defenders who are dragged through the courts for asserting their rights.

In the lead up to the return of Idle No More days of action, Six Nations land defender Francine “Flower” Doxtator will face the Canadian courts again. The root of the charges stem from the provocations of anti-Native rights activist Gary McHale and the Ontario Provincial Police on the reclaimed land of Kanonhstaton. McHale’s actions are part of his ongoing campaign against what he calls “native lawlessness,” “land claim terrorism,” and “race-based policing”.

As a Haudenosaunee land defender facing the courts, Flower asserts that the courts violate both the Two Row Wampum treaty and the rightful law – the Great Law of Peace – of the stolen land on which the courthouse stands.

Enough is enough.

Join us for a rally, round dance and court support to make a strong statement that Indigenous and non-Indigenous people will not stand for this ongoing harassment of land defenders or any further violation of the Two Row Wampum.
