Today in Court

30 Sep

The arguements we presented today in court was based on the idea that the crown, by proceeding by indictment on my case overstepped his boundries, and clearly is a case of over prosecution. Arguements were presented on a political basis that by choosing to proceed by inditement, he made a desision to take a stand of punishing me for my politics.

The arguements, very clear precise and political raised the issue of politics and political tragetting being a important mater to discuss. The judge listened to our arguements and is expected to give a ruling on this motion. If this motion fails other political motions will be put forward, and if those fail then it will contnue to jury trial.

If it passes then this sets a clear president for future cases.

I was very happy with all the support today, and the courthouse being full and thank all those who have supported my political struggle thus far. I am confident about the motion in court today and look forward to victory tommorrow.

See You All at ten am superiour court toronto.

My Words Are Like A Dagger (on telling cops to fuck themselves)

25 Sep

of the speaking tour i will say nothing other then it kicks ass and hope the guest doesnt die of exhaustion, its not easy doing event after event after event, we will have two posts up at the end one professional with all the events, one about all the bloopers and funny and annoying things that happenned.

With that being said yesterday I ran into a bunch of cops while attending an event around minimum wages,(luckly the guest was relaxing and not there) and people were surprised at how polite I was, I told someone I cant wait till this tour is over so I can revert to my old self, which started a discussion, that I have had many times before about my use of unprofessional language to cops, screws, the crown and other forces in the service of her majesty, (may she rott in hell).

When people critise my unprofessional language, swearing at cops etc., they take things out of context, in other words, they fail to see the bigger picture that theyu have guns and all the weight of the state and usually i dont even have two dollars in my pocket. They thrive on fear and intimidation and id they know that you are scared, they feed on that fear.
In jail its not uncommon for prisoners to mreffer to screws as boss, or address those forces of repression with respect. That is what they are accustommed to, and as such it strenghthens the power relation, taking away the power one has over you, further intensifying the cuurent paradighme, that they are everything and you are nothing, and any right you have is a priveledge given to them by you, your role to cowar and beg for mercy or crumbs off the table. When you respond to there intimidation by telling them to fuck there moms, or belittle the crown, or take a stand bordering on confrontation, in terms of words eg. why, what about my rights etc., you are exerting and reclaiming power. In other words you refuse to by into the pardighme of oppressoer and oppressed and by doing so create your own paradighme which is based on recognising the fact that there power comes from the billy club and yours come from your heart.
In a society where they have everything and you have nothing, you are a victim, in a society where you refuse to be intimidated, you are arming yourself with words and rejecting this paradime and by doing so engaging in creating a new paradighme, where words and thoughts are weapons. Im not saying to engage in long drawn out conversations but a quick fuck you or any sentance of resistance before you demand a lawyer goes a long way to exerting your humanity. It was not for nothing that the Panthers started using the words pigs. Let us hold no illusions, the state is not our friends, and they aim to criminalize and dehumanize us, and if words is what we have to fight them so be it!!

Mapuche, Revolutionary & Anti-Colonial Struggle in so-called Chile since 1973

The Women’s Coordinating Committee for a Free Wallmapu, will speak on the significance of the last 40 years of revolutionary and anti-colonial struggle in Wallmapu (Mapuche territory), Chile, and beyond the Andes. This September 11th marks the 40th anniversary of the Coup d’état in Chile and with it the memory of a brutal dictatorship, the commemoration of the many thousands of missing, murdered and exiled victims by the Chilean State, with the implementation of the Shock Doctrine known as the neoliberal economic model we live in today. However, the victims of State repression go far beyond the period of the Pinochet dictatorship in Chile. We must also recognize the ongoing plunder and criminalization of the most marginalized sectors of our society by those in power, the later hunt for the revolutionary movements that were born in response to these injustices, and especially the ongoing genocide of indigenous peoples on their ancient territory. The WCCC [Toronto] is an indigenous Mapuche grassroots organization based in Toronto, Turtle Island. Our goal is to link the struggles of indigenous sovereignty (specifically the Mapuche Peoples of so-called southern $hile) with that of other indigenous, anti-capitalist/anti-colonial, community based struggles across Turtle Island, by creating awareness through events, protests, publications, etc….

Including Mapuche Short Docs & MORE…

Republican Political Prisoners/POWs in Today’s Ireland

Brendan Casey will speak on the conditions of Irish Prisoners of War (POWs) and the current human rights situation in Northern Ireland. Born into a staunchly Republican family where a significant number of his elders were either POWs or ex-POWs, he has been involved all his adult life in raising funds and publicizing the plight of the POWs. The hunger strikes left a lasting impact on him. He was the chairman of the Ballyshannon Bundoran hunger strike march for a number of years and now classes himself as an independent socialist Republican.
In this capacity he has been traveling throughout Canada, as well as to other countries, to try to give people a true picture of the POW situation in Ireland.

SPECIAL MESSAGE from MARTIN RAFFERTY, a former POW and member of the Belfast 32 County Sovereignty Movement. 32CSM is a political movement that is fighting against the current occupation of the Six Counties of Northern Ireland

victory yesterday against state slanders, lets hope my jury trial goes as good

18 Sep

So yesterday i had my tresspass court date where the state was trying to slander me and Ian and in the statement of facts acuuse us of not allowing the minister of social services to leave his office
If this statement of fact and slander was proven it would be bad. It wasn’t!!!we had rallies earlier in the day around the cuts to Community start up and other things, since todays my B day dont really want to write down all that happened
but lots of people came out. We had letters of support from OCAP Sid Ryan the head of Ontario Federation of Labour etc (which I will post Later)., Due to public support etc. the crown was forced to withdraw the bullshit statement of facts and accept a simple
truethful statement of facts that stated that we refused to leave and remove all the slanders. No penalty. Below is what I read in court, Ian made lots of amazing arguements and was well spoken and proved in my eyes malice on behalf of the crown, but i dont have what he said. Lets hope my Jury trial on Spet. 30th goes this good!!

your honor, i have a few things to say about this case
First of all I would like to state that as things stand this is about a simple matter of tresspass, in the words of John Milloy in the disclosure
“I believ that no criminal act was committd”, yet if one reads the disclosure which is quite big, one sees that the prosecutor is attempting to
turn this into a matter of criminalizing protest. There are huge discrepencies between initial interviews given to police and witness statements given later,
and these discrepencies seem to stem from a poltical positioon aimed to criminalize us and makes us look like terrorists and hostage takers.

In Shellets staement she states that “I realized that there was no escape for the MPP and other staff held basically
hostage in the back office. They could not leave or go to the back washroom, they could not leave at all. Killy Milne, Julie Hoeft and The MPP were held Captive”
This goes against Milloys assertion that he chose to lock himself in the backroom. Others who make similar assertions cntradict each other and these assertions could never be proved
in a court of law Hence we are simply charged with tresspass and not some other crime.

Why are these assertions in the statements and disclosure? To criminalize our just right to protest and participate in pacefull civil disobediance and to criminalize civil disobediance.
If we were holding them captive why do they assert in other parts of the disclosure that we were chanting “come out”

These statements aim to not only demonize us but put forward the theory that any sit in or occupation is equal to hostage taking and intimidation and have serious impact on the future of
people demonstrating there constituional right to protest.

Furthermore comments by Mr. Fisher like “”two staff members have had emotional issues since this incident, they have these issues for having been exposed to protestors for an extended
period of time”is absurd. Where in the DSMV does it talk about this? what are his credentials to diagnose people, he is is adtective not a psychiatrist. These statements, without any scientific backing
prejudice the court and the public. I ask that all these contradictory and prejudicial staements not be allowed into evidence.

In conclusion we hear alot about the intimidation that staff emebers feel from themselves and police officers who think they are psychiatrists, but nowhere is there anything about the psycological impact
these cuts have had on the pyisical and psycological well being of many in this province. If such unscientific evidence is admitted into court I ask that I be allowed to call witnesses to deal with the impacts of these cuts on the community
and demonstrate that it is really the Liberals who are intimidating and holding the whole province hostage.

To Defend Cuba is to Defend Humanity, Free The Five!!!

17 Sep

Cuba, one of the first countries to implement a peoples agenda has beeen under attack by imperialist powers since the inception of its pro people revolution since 1959. From attacks like biological warfare,
to assasination attempts on the life of Fidel, to arming counter revolutionaries in escambray, the imperialists have perpetrated evry crime to punish the Cuban people. These attacks have not stopped. Groups like Alpha 66 and brothers to the rescue still carry out attacks with the blessing of the CIA aimed at destroying the econmy
and causing Maximun damage to the lives of youth and others. To compliment this attack, through the helms burton and trasselli act, the imperialists aim to starve the revolution and teach the Cubans a lesson.

What crime has Cuba committed to earn the wrath of the imperialsits. There crime is quite simple, to create an economy that serves there people as oppossed to big economic interests. While the united snakes were arming mercenarys to kill Lumumba and destroy the African peoples in the Congo, Cuba was arming students with pencils to go to the countryside
and sucessfully wipe out illiteracy. While the US was bombing and destroying homes in Vietnam, Cuba was mobalizing the community to go to the countryside and build decent housing fit for human beings, so all may have a decent standard of living. While the CIA was targetting and assasinating progressive leaders like Salvador Allende, Cuba was raising the life expectancy of its citizens.

In Angola where the U$ was arming funning and training the aparthied imperialist to impose white supremacy, Cuban volunteers dies by the thousands so that Africa could be free.
In the words of an African revolutionary, Cuba was the only country that took nothing from Africa but its dead.

These crimes of putting the needs of the people first, and defending the rights of nations to determine there own destiny have enraged the imperialists so much that they will stop at nothing to sland attack and destroy the revolution. How dare these inferiour Latin Americans want to educate there children, where do they get off wiping out illiteracy.building homes and feed there children.
They are getting mighty uppity and must be put in there place, said president after president after president, yet it is not the Cuban revolution that was wiped out but rather there credibility. From Ezienhower to Nixon to Bush, all have tried to teach Cuba a lesson and it was them who learned the lesson, the Cuban people were no longer pawns for the Imperialist, and time and time again
they have defended there revolution with a rifle in there hand.

As we Speak Four Cuban lie in U$ hell holes in Solitary confiment, while the fifth, released on conditions, is tstill suffering for there simple crime of defending there country and the integrety of there revolution from imperialist terrorist attacks. They have done nothing to harm the U$, and in a age of the war on terror, they were arrestyed brutalized and tortured for defendingt there country against terror.
In Kangeroo courts in Miami control by gangsters they were sentenced to life and found guilty not because of any crime they have committed but rather for the love they hold for there motherland and wanting a stop to the terror attacks on there infastructure carried out on U$ soil.
There sufferring and resistance in the belly of the beast shows the willingness of the Cuban people to do whatever it takes to defend there revolution, and there victory is our victory.

FREE THE CUBA FIVE!!!!
Venceremos!!!!

*******************
This September 11th marks the 40th anniversary of the Coup d’état in Chile and with it the memory of a brutal dictatorship, the commemoration of the many thousands of missing, murdered and exiled victims by the Chilean State, with the implementation of the Shock Doctrine known as the neoliberal economic model we live in today.

We must also recognize the ongoing plunder and criminalization of the most marginalized sectors of our society by those in power, the later hunt for the revolutionary movements that were born in response to these injustices, and especially the ongoing genocide of indigenous peoples on their ancient territory.

The Mapuche Peoples are a living and fighting example of how an indigenous Nation has been able to resist for more than 400 years against ongoing colonial, corporate and State interests that invade their territory, which continues to this day. These ongoing struggles for Land and Liberation are not only seen in Wallmapu or Chile, but also across this stolen continent, here in Turtle Island and around the world, as they are the response to a genocidal colonial capitalist system.

On September 21st we will commemorate the ongoing resistance of our peoples in struggle in Wallmapu and beyond the Andes…

PRESENTING THE EXCLUSIVE PREMIER SCREENING **FIRST TIME IN TORONTO** of the Mapuche Film:
NGÜENÉN: EL ENGAÑO [The Deceit – with English Subtitles] (2012)

See Synopsis Here:

A documentary made by the directors of “El Despojo” (The Plunder) focusing on the international political dynamics of the “War on Terror,” and the counterintelligence strategies used to criminalize the Mapuche struggle for Autonomy and Territorial Reclamation.

Lies and deceit are as old as war itself. The objective of these intelligence actions called “Psychological Operations” (or PsyOps) is to destroy the morale of the enemy and assure the approval of the population through propaganda, misinformation, manipulation, the fabrication of news, omission, decontextualization (etc)… Everything to allow a SETUP, since “to convince is to overcome.”

Chilean Prosecutor, Mario Elgueta, whom was the alleged victim of an annihilating attack in southern Chile, was actually a student in an FBI [and CSIS] antiterrorist course in Virginia USA.

Through the techniques of a judicial/political/media setup, 17 Mapuche land defenders faced trial under the Antiterrorist Law, at first risking a total of up to 800 years in prison… Four bicentennials on the backs of those who oppose the arrogance of the Chilean State.

Tuesday Sept. 17th oppose sham consulation on policing and get payed!!!!

15 Sep

Last year the OIPRD held a consultation on police complaints, with police “community members and others. From the onset it became clear to many in attendance that this forum had little
to do with dealing with issues of policing and alot to do with implementing there new model of policing based on legitimising an illegitimate process. Many communitty members opposed
this agenda and left in disgust when there voices were silenced. Below is an account of this.

http://32csminternational.blogspot.ca/2013/01/on-psni-influence-on-canadian-police.html#!/2013/01/on-psni-influence-on-canadian-police.html

Given the fact that there was widespread dissent and opposition to this agenda, for a whole year they have been trying to hold more consulatations
to waterdown there failure to implement there agenda. On the 17th they are holding another one, delaying the publication of there findings until they have enough bullshit to candy coat there agenda.
People should register attend and say what they think and oppose the implementation of this new model of policing.Below is the information about this event, and given the fact i have a pointless courtdate that day i cant attend but i encourage others to.
If i could register as James Connelly and get in Im sure others can do the same. By the way the give you honorariums for going. Oppose thius sham consulatation register and dissent.

Raise The Minimum Wage Action at Mc Donalds was Kickass!!

14 Sep

On Sept. 14th Poverty Makes Us Sick and Others went to the Mc Donalds to hold hold a picket demanding an increase to Minumum wage.
Mc Donalds is one of the companys oppossed to this for obvious reasons. We were greated by this guy who claimed to be the owner and demanded that we ,ove our vehicles. When asked to give his name or some proof he was who he said he was he didnt.
He stated trhat his jacket, a Mc Donalds Jacket was proof of who he was, at which point, it was pointed out he was wearing a New York Fire Fighters T-shirt, maybe he was a fire fighter from New York and someone else stated that if hes the owner then shes the Queen, at which point an arguement based on identity ensued.
After this, a picket was set up, chalking ensued, and we were joined by someone dressed like Ronald Mcdonald.

We were met with many honks and lots of support. After doing this for awhile a small group wanted to go inside and order a raise to the minumum wage with a side of dental benifits.
The group was met by this guy who could be a fire fighter for all we know and some of his lackeys who acted in a heavy handed manner. Because he was blocking the entrance and being all bitter and such
we left only to go to the other entrance, and after doing this several times, he smashed the door on my foot.

Despite this we raised awareness and got lots of support. More actions to come.

The Strange Case of Abdul Khan: Pakistan Diplomatic Bag receipt missing?

13 Sep

Over the past months the media has been reporting on the case of Abdul Khan, paralegal and his problems with the law society. According to the media his case is a simple case of being disbarred and losing his licence due to mistakes on his part.

Yet those who took the time to speak to Mr. Khan get a totally different picture. Talking to him one sees the maxim absolute power corrupts absolutely proven. His problems started with a simple case dealing with a $500 retainer, a case he won is civil court. Yet this victory was short lived as the law society a private regulatory body was not satisfied with this.

According to him, his dealings with the law society were Kafkaesque, and nothing he has provided was enough to satisfy them. Of all the interesting parts of the case, the most interesting was the dismissal of a letter from the embassy of Pakistan by one Anita McCann stating that the funds were sent to Pakistan to outsource work. A diplomatic bag content receipt was later ordered by Miss. McCann and supplied by the Pakistan Embassy, but this too was dismissed on the basis that the Pakistani Embassy was “shifty and unreliable institution”. These xenophobic allegations were further compounded by the loss of these documents, which two years later are still nowhere to be found.

According to Khan, the rest of the hearing, behind closed doors, did not address these or other issues but rather felt like a kangaroo court where the verdict was a forgone conclusion. Khan states that he has served his clients to the best of his ability, yet this was not enough for the law society.

Stranger yet is the letters and messages from him being ignored and the disappearance of Miss. Anita McCann, who only surfaced recently at his last hearing.

The purpose of Journalism is to find the truth and present an unbiased report. I feel this has been lacking, and despite whatever one thinks about Khan, it is obvious that in his case many questions remain unanswered, some of which have serious implications. Where is the diplomatic pouch? Where is Miss. McCann? Why a simple matter couldn’t be settled without such a drawn out process that has had a serious impact on his life? Where is the diplomatic bag receipt? Until these questions are answered, “we will not have a true understanding of the strange case of Khan”.
