Meeting on Human Rights in Ireland a success!!!

27 Aug

Yesterday at the Queen Street Commons there was a discussion on the present situation in the North of Ireland. The meeting started with an amazing speech by the National Secretary Peter Fitzsimons of the 32CSM which was followed by general discussion and the announcing of a raffle. The prize for the raffle will be a glasswork craft anyone interested in buying raffle tickets please email

It was quite clear from the discussion that the GFA has not provided a way forward to end the conflict that is still going on due to the fact that the GFA entrenches the cause of the conflict which is the British occupation, furthermore the only solution to the conflict is to get rid of the source of the conflict which is the British occupation of the Occupied Six Counties.

Discussion also focused on the criminalization of Irish Republicans by the PSNI/RUC as well as the media which prints whatever it feels like printing with no care of facts of journalistic integrity as long as it can slander and drag the name of real Irish Republicans in the mud. Special attention was paid to the treatment of revolutionary socialist Alan Ryan by the media that cares more about sensationalizing his murder then investigating the role of state collusion in his death and how when reporting on his death and life facts are ignored with the purpose of discrediting his work. Despite that his funeral was attended by all stratus of the community as well as memorials which are held on the anniversary of his assassination.

Finally the issue of what a Republican is was discussed and in this discussion it became quite clear that the principles of Republicanism have been betrayed by those now administering british injustice as the principles of Republicanism rests on Sovereignty not collaboration. All in all the meeting was a success and we ask all people to buy raffle tickets.

The Second Independence of Ecuador, Thoughts on Mondays celebration of Independence

14 Aug

The Monday that just passed I attended a commemoration put together by the Ecuadorian community living here to commemorate the independence of Ecuador over two centuries ago. Quite early in the event a certain spirit haunted the event, it was the spirit of people risen carrying out what was started 200 years ago a peoples revolution pushing for true independence against the more recent colonizers the United Snakes of America.

Despite all the bullshit that one reads about the current situation in Ecuador it is quite clear that the peoples of Ecuador under the presidency of Correa have been given the necessary space to finish what was started and organize themselves according to their political and sociological interests. Indigenous peoples Queer peoples workers and all segments of society coming together and saying not only is a broad inclusive society where the needs of the peoples are put first possible but it is necessary!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This process of national liberation clearly was visible at this event as almost everyone was affected by the events and recent developments in Ecuador on one side the progressive government of Correa resisting US occupation creating the space for people to organize themselves and defend their interests on the other side the United Snakes the corporations and those traitors who for centuries have benefited from the blood and toil of the people of Ecuador refusing to give up their privilege.

Despite the economic attacks for the lackeys the spirit of the room reflected the spirit in the streets one of resistance defiance and victory. The celebration was not just an event for something that took place over 200 years ago but rather a celebration what is happening now Ecuador’s Second Independence creating the space where the people and social movements can now create a Ecuador by the peoples for the peoples where the gringos have no say.

This celebration reflects what is going on right now, a new spirit has swept across Latin America, the spirit of Independence agrarian reform justice and independence and despite all the rights attempts they will fail for the peoples in motion can never be defeated, slowed down, temporarily blocked, but never defeated. The people have risen and despite all the attempts of reaction this second Independence cant be crushed with tanks and guns for it is more then something materialistic it is a spirit the spirit that the US have tried again and again to crush and one thing that the imperialists should know by know is you can kill people but you cant kill a idea or spirit!!!!

From Belfast to Palestine Free All POWS!!!!!

13 Aug

This sunday a variety of groups including Toronto forum on Cuba, Sunday Poetry at Ellingtons, Anti Colonial Working Group and others held a meeting discussing the need to support political prisoners. The event covered a variety of political prisoners from the case of the Craigavon Two to local women describing brutal torture under Pinochet, to the case of Stephen Kaczynski held in a turkish jail without charge.

The discussion made it quite clear that the anglo american imperialist alliance is at war with the peoples of the world and such those who resist the system will likely at one point in time find themselves in jail and will probably at one point in time have loved ones ripped from their community imprisoned brutalized and beaten leaving a empty space in the community.

As such prison is just another part of the struggle and our comrades inside must still be part of our community and the struggle that they are engaging for political status human rights and to be treated as humans must be supported. In fact if anything this meeting made it quite clear that it is not enough to simply spout platitudes but we must engage with those that the imperialists kidnap and break their isolation wherever possible and not let our comrades suffer in silence.

Though the meeting had a quite serious and sober tone as people described gendered torture, rape and other crimes that speakers felt at the hands of the dictatorship of Pinochet and other, it was quite clear that there is a need for us to refuse to be silent and stand with prisoners till they all come home to say!!!

Statement from the 32 County Sovereignty Movement National Secretary, Mr Peter Fitzsimons at the Third Conference On The International Problem’s Of Humanity In Brazil

12 Aug

Below is a copy of the speech given to delegates in attendance at the, Third Conference On The International Problem’s Of Humanity, which was held from, July 28th to July 31st 2015 in San Paulo, Brazil.
Among those in attendance were guests from various organisations, including guests from groups in Palestine, Alba nations, China, The African National Congress and other nations.
Statement from the 32 County Sovereignty Movement National Secretary, Mr Peter Fitzsimons, on behalf of the 32 County Sovereignty Movement Ard Chomhairle.
Friends and Comrades, solidarity greetings to you, and your respective groups from the 32 County Sovereignty Movement. We send our deepest apologies to you at this time for not being able to attend and participate in this years conference.
The 32 County Sovereignty Movement are an Irish Republican separatist group, who formed in 1997 with a clear mandate to challenge the violation of Irish National Sovereignty.
The 32 County Sovereignty Movement seek an end to British Imperialism in our country by challenging Britain’s rule through the International Courts at the Untied Nations.
In April 1998, delegates from the 32 County Sovereignty Movement, lodged a legal challenge at the United Nations in New York City, where we legally challenged the so called Good Friday Agreement, that was fostered upon the Irish people.
Lodging this challenge it was clear to see that the British, Irish and American governments were shook to the core, and they took immediate steps to declare the 32 County Sovereignty Movement as a proscribed organisation in America, and in doing so ensured that the 32 County Sovereignty Movement could never return to the United Nations, to challenge Britain’s sovereign claim over Ireland’s 6 north eastern counties.
Today, there sits two documents in the United Nations, one is the Good Friday Agreement, and the other is the 32 County Sovereignty Movement’ challenge to the Good Friday Agreement.
It is becoming evidently clear that the Good Friday Agreement is failing the people of Ireland, and that the violation of Irish Sovereignty is the continuing cause of conflict in Ireland.
Are the Irish, British and American governments blind to this fact, and are they prepared to continue with this charade?? We fear that they are.
Our challenge is a clear and coherent blueprint for a permanent peace in Ireland, where all religions races, sexes and creeds are respected.
Friends and comrades, to quote the great Hugo Chavez “ We must confront the privileged elite who have destroyed a large part of the world” and it is with these words that we in the 32 County Sovereignty Movement call to you for your help.
We cannot stress enough the importance of international support, we cannot allow ourselves to be sidelined anymore, without international pressure and support the future of Ireland and the prospect of reunification grows thinner and thinner by the day.
We call on you, through your respective groups to lobby the American government to lift the travel ban imposed on the 32 County Sovereignty Movement, we call on you to lobby the United Nations, and ask of them to look at the submission made by the 32 County Sovereignty Movement, ask them to full fill their International duties.
We can only do so much here in Ireland, while we work on a full time basis challenging the violation of Irish Sovereignty, we are faced with many obstacles.
On a daily basis our members and supporters are harassed, arrested, imprisoned and intimidated by the Irish and British military police forces.
We are faced with a media ban, and we rely solely on the use of social media to get our message out to the general public. Irish Republicans are being treated like common criminals for the simple fact that we seek an end to British occupation in our country.
Friends we feel that we can achieve our goals in the future with your help and support.
We look forward to working with you in the future.
Beir Bua.

Fight the right, destabilization of ALBA nations by the west!!!

12 Aug

One of the things that I learned when I was in Brazil is the hypocrisy of the west, particularly the so called left which on the one hand hate Cuba for so called human rights abuses yet on the other hand condemns the PT and other progressive governments for not imposing what they call full socialism (which actually only exists in their books) ignoring the fact that the right, with its western ngos corporations military forces and capital will block any progressive measure and if the progressive forces do anything to defend themselves from this political economic and paramilitary onslaught the western left will cry big crocodile tears about human rights and such bullshit while staying silent about crimes of the right.

A perfect example is Ecuador where the so called progressive left is silent on the crimes of Chevron yet will condemn Correa for industrialization, or where the left is silent about the struggle of most Indigenous people against the corporations and machinations of the United Snakes of America yet will support a small handpicked group of US corporate Indigenous voices in the pay of the US corporations who openly carry the flags of the bankers and say that it is the voice of all indigenous peoples of Ecuador and support them because socialism scares them and they are afraid of hearing the truth so they will only listen to the voice that they want to hear and lets them sleep better at night.

The west is at war with the peoples of the ALBA nations and people are dieing because of this. Those who truly believe in self determination have to pick sides, not based on what makes us feel better but rather on principle. This is not an issue of simply listening to salsa music and saying how beautiful the countryside is but rather throwing down. Its not just about attacking mining companies or oil companies thats cool to do but actually challenging the military industrial complex. These forces are not phantoms but rather have names and addresses and most of them are in toronto!!!!!

Meeting of the peoples of the world in Brazil

8 Aug

On July 28th a conference hosted by the MST on the problems facing humanity took place in Brazil near Sao Paulo. Representatives from nations across this hemisphere representing different walks of life cam together to discuss the work they are doing political social and economic problems that they were facing and set the frame work to have everyone come together and discuss solutions. Issues addressed ranged from occupation and the problems that it brings to the current problems of resisting patriarchy in our community’s.

Nations and groups from the 32CSM in Ireland to NUMSA in South Africa either sent representatives or statements creating a broad spectrum of issues raised. From the discussion it became quite clear that the old ideas of organizing politically were not enough and that if capitalism colonialism racism environmental destruction and patriarchy were not challenged in new ways the idea of a future for the people is quite bleak.

Particular emphasis was place on the struggles of Indigenous peoples of the world from Palestine to Turtle Island as a primary focus of attack and resistance, as well as the plight of black people who are murdered in the streets brutalized and criminalized because of a white supremacist system that aims to decimate and eradicate physically culturally and economically through every and all means.

As a representative of Hugo Chavez Peoples Defense Front I brought up the issues that we work on from resisting Chevrons attacks on Indigenous peoples here and abroad to the rapid defense of the Bolivarian revolution from klandian and U$ attacks. I must particularly mention and thank the kindness of everyone in this group whose sacrifices made it possible for me to attend and the kindness that they showed to make sure I had all I need to travel and participate, with out them this would not have been possible. Over the next few days I plan to write about my experience and what I learned from Brazil as well as tell interesting and somewhat funny story’s of what happened over there.

One person jokingly called this conference the creation of a fifth international and its spirit was defiantly one of not only is another world possible, but necessary.

Anti Colonial Group Statement on Stephen Kaczynski

7 Aug

Anti Colonial Working group condemns the Turkish government for wrongly imprisoning Kacsynski without any due process or legal legitimacy. Arrested after an illegal raid on an Anatolian cultural centre on April 4th he has been denied his right to a fair trial or to even know what crime he is alleged to have committed. As such he has been on hunger for 43 days and is close to death. Anti Colonial Working Group demands his immediate freedom and as such calls on all socialists republicans and progressive forces to demand the the Turkish government free him now!!!!!
